Vidya’s review of the summer course

Hi Professor Liu,

Hope you are doing well. I just wanted to thank you for the amazing summer mechanistic data course. I really enjoyed learning alongside all the Ph.D., Graduate, and Undergrad students, it was such a unique experience and really sparked my interest in data science and machine learning. I am so grateful, especially with the extra lectures you, Chanwook, and Owen ran for me. A lot of the math surpassed my knowledge, but as I take Calc 3 this semester, a lot of it makes more sense and I am able to get a deeper appreciation for what I learned. I am a little busy with college applications right now, but I plan to explore this area more, so I will definitely keep you updated on my projects and stay in touch. Once again, thank you so much!
